We raise funds for Ruth Washburn so we can keep tuition down. Without our fundraising and parent-helping efforts, you could expect your monthly payments to be as much as twice what they currently are.

Please, do your part to help us keep tuition in check.

You'll find here a guide to the various ways you can contribute.

Remember, outreach is important. Don't just come to the auction, bring another couple. Don't just buy bulbs for your yard, knock on your neighbor's door and ask if she wants some, too. Don't just get yourself grocery certificates each month, pick up some for your mother as well.

We aim to raise $60,000 this school year. That goal will be met in short order if we look beyond our own school community to neighbors, friends, and extended family.

If you have any questions or any suggestions for additional ways we might raise funds, by all means, get in touch. Email: fundraising@ruthwashburn.org.

Thanks for your support this year!

Grocery Certificates-All Year

  • Goal: Pledge (and pick up) $100, $200, $300, $400, or more in certificates per month
  • These certificates work at King Soopers and Safeway
  • The school receives 5% of everything you spend.
  • This is the EASIEST way for the school to raise money. It requires you do nothing but spend money you'd spend anyway.
  • Questions? Contact the school - 636-3084.

Grocery Certificates
This is the "no brainer" of fundraising projects. You're buying groceries anyway. Do so with these certificates, and Ruth Washburn gets 5 cents of every dollar you spend. The average family of four buys $650 worth of groceries a month. If you pick up even half of that in grocery certificates (say $300 worth each month) -- and every other family does the same -- then Ruth Washburn will make $15,000 this year. If you grab an additional $100 a month in certificates for your mother-in-law (and so do your fellow families) that total goes up to $20,000 raised. This is the easiest way there is to contribute to the school. It requires you do nothing but spend money you'd spend anyway. For more details, click here.
